The charter
Six commitments that make this worth joining
An industry body is only as credible as the rules it will not break. These are ours, published in full and in public, so they can be held against us.

- 1
Neutral ground
No single member's commercial interest sets the agenda. Topics come from the membership; any member may put a question on the table.
- 2
No selling
Round table sessions are not a sales floor. Members who use them as one lose their seat. This rule exists because it is the first rule every industry group like this abandons.
- 3
Practice over opinion
Published guidance carries its reasoning and its evidence. Where the evidence is thin, we say so rather than filling the gap with confidence.
- 4
Open by default
Everything the consortium publishes is free to read whether you are a member or not. Membership buys you a seat and a voice, not access to a paywall.
- 5
Named authorship
Every contribution carries a person's name and their company. Anonymous industry guidance is marketing wearing a lab coat.
- 6
Balanced representation
No single member category holds a majority of steering seats. Contractors cannot outvote operators; operators cannot outvote independents.
